Sweet and Tart.. Somerset is delicious black tea blended with hibiscus, apples and rose hips. Somerset’s rich flavors, color, and vitamins make this a lovely summer tea!
Ingredients: Indian Black Teas, Apples, Hibiscus, Mango, Rose Hips, Natural Organic Mango and Apple Flavors.
Watermelon Hibiscus Orange Cooler (Recipe adapted from Tasty Yummies). Makes 2 quarts
4 cups filtered or purified water
6-8 teaspoons of Somerset Tea
4 cups fresh watermelon juice (see note below)
1/4 cup raw honey, maple syrup or other sweetener
1/2 cup fresh orange or lime juice
Steep Somerset Tea in 4 cups of 212* hot water and steep for 8-10 minutes. Add sweeter of your choice. Set aside.
Watermelon juice: (If seeded watermelon,remove as many of the seeds as you can from the watermelon). Cut the watermelon into cubes. Discard the rinds. Add 4 to 6 cups of watermelon cubes to your blender and process until smooth.
Add cooled tea to the watermelon juice, add optional orange, apple or lime juice. Pulse 2-3 times in your blender. Add more sweetener if necessary.
Once the tea is cooled. add the tea to the watermelon juice and add the optional juice of your choice. Stir together adding more sweetener to taste. Chill and serve in pretty glasses or mason jars with a slice of watermelon, other fruit, or how about a fruit filled skewer for fun!!! Sip and Enjoy!
